Introduction
When developing service applications, the needs of three communication “participants” are always paramount: the sender (MTU), the means of communication (the device), and the recipient (the user). Specifically, these are:
MTU as sender:
A uniform appearance—not only in terms of design, but also through structure—and prominent use of the logo strengthen MTU’s brand presence.
Device as a means of communication:
A flexible presentation ensures that the application can be used on different devices without any problems.
User as recipient:
The use of recurring components that always appear in the same order ensures that users can easily find their way around even unfamiliar applications.
The guidelines described here will help achieve these objectives. They serve to provide order, orientation and recognizability. All rules should be followed where possible.
